By booking a session or retaining an employee of The Mix Shop Recording Studio (TMSRS) for services, you agree to the session terms and conditions to follow.

 

To confirm a booked session requires you make a $50 down payment on studio time to hold the time slot.  Or you can pay the entire session balance using your Paypal account to hold the time slot.  

 

All purchases can be 100% refunded  as long as you request the refund within 24 hours of the scheduled studio session time.  Please formally request a refund by sending an email to support@themixshoprecordingstudio.com by 24 hours before the scheduled studio session time.  If you request a refund after scheduled studio time commences or less than 24 hours before the scheduled studio time, a partial 50% refund will be granted as the payment was for you to hold the time slot and The Mix Shop Recording Studio could not book any sessions during that time as a result.  So please make sure when you book a session you are sure you would like the session to occur during that time.  

 

TMSRS holds the right to decline to book a session with any artist or group for any reason.  If an artist or group prepays for a session  and TMSRS declines to record them, TMSRS is responsible for refunding their prepayment in it's entirety within 48 hours from the time of payment.

 

At the end of each session, the artist or group is responsible for paying the session balance in full using one or more of the accepted payment methods.  After payment, TMSRS is responsible for providing a receipt of purchase to the artist or group thoroughly outlining the session, signed by the session engineer or studio owner if an engineer was not included in the booked session.  If there is an unpaid session balance by the artist or group, it is to be paid in full no later than 14 days after the session or legal repercussions may be taken by TMSRS.  Any unpaid balance is to be handled by the artist or group signing an I.O.U. to TMSRS.

 

Production agreement:

If an employee of TMSRS produces a song for an artist or group, the song is not to be released without both parties agreeing on the purchased rights and price, which is to be outlined in the form of an additional written agreement.

 

Cancellations:  An artist or group can cancel a booked recording session at any time by written email as long as the formal cancelation occurs before an employee of TMSRS begins working on their project and for a full refund please view our

 

If an artist or group cancels after an employee of TMSRS begins work on their project, TMSRS is owed for the amount of time spent at the agreed upon rate.  However, an employee of TMSRS cannot begin work on an artist or groups project without written consent from the artist or group.
